We offer a role with responsibility, independence, and the possibility to give proactively, by encouraging a collaboration culture with room for individual development.The CIC Environment QA Team in Egypt is looking for 4 summer interns to work QA Engineers.Start your career with the Strategic Student Program (SSP)!The SSP is our formal internship programs at SIEMENS Software. You will be mentored by guides and work directly with costumers to create direct business impact and again invaluable professional experience!The program is a 2 months summer internship in July/August 2026. There will be opportunity to learn and contribute in a variety of areas of the software development process, with emphasis on a number of achievable projects to both encourage your development and deliver something useful.Main Responsibilities:Aim to achieve a high-quality level for our market-leading solution; Solido Design Environment.Define the test plan and participate in the quality plan definition for each release, in coordination with the development and marketing teams.Execute the required tests, analyze test reports, diagnose problems, report them to the development teams, and suggest potential solutions.Consider different quality attributes (FURPS) while validating products, with special emphasis on Usability (GUI) attributes.Use the products as a designer and provide feedback and suggestions to enhance functionality and user experience using AI latest techniques.Required skills, knowledge and experience3rd or 4th year Student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.Strong programming and software testing skills, with an emphasis on Python and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.Familiar with manual testing of complex desktop applications and familiarity with GUI testing principles and tools (e.g., Qt, Squish, Selenium).Good knowledge of AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Large Language Model (LLM) concepts, along with familiarity with API testing.Good understanding of test automation, regression prevention, and software quality assurance methodologies.Knowledge and hands-on experience with analog/mixed-signal IC schematic and layout design, basic knowledge of different verification flows is a plus.Familiarity with EDA tools and environments (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso®, Synopsys Custom Designer®) and SPICE simulators is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through clear documentation, test plans, bug reports, and team collaboration.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Team player and willing to collaborate within a team environment.Highly developed communication and presentation skillsWhy Working at Siemens Software?We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
