You will be mentored by guides and work directly with costumers to create direct business impact and again invaluable professional experience!The program is a 2 months summer internship in July/August 2026. There will be opportunity to learn and contribute in a variety of areas of the software development process, with emphasis on a number of achievable projects to both encourage your development and deliver something useful.Main Responsibilities:Design and Develop Custom / Extended features on top of Capital products.Engage with Siemens Solution Architects to craft, scope, estimate, and deliver a variety of solutions relating to our Capital electrical architecture product portfolioEnsure all proposed solutions are within current capabilities of the products, leading to successful customer outcomesDocument and promote Best Practice approachesWork to continuously improve the experience for our customers through service improvement initiatives customer flows and elaborate technical requirements.Required skills, knowledge and experience3rd or 4th year Student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.Experience with developing software using Java with proven routine application of object oriented design and design patterns. Familiarity with C++ is a plus!Familiarity with relational databases. Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities, capable of designing suitable solutions using appropriate algorithms and data structures. Ability to work with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM and/or Kanban. Knowledge of developing/maintaining object model and/or public APIs. Familiarity working with JavaScript, TypeScript, XML and HTML/CSS Familiarity working with SOAP and REST web services. Familiarity with electrical and harness domains is a plus.
