You'll translate complex structural engineering drawings into precise, detailed shop and erection drawings for steel fabricators and erectors. Your expertise will ensure the structural integrity and constructability of every project, making you an indispensable part of our engineering success.Responsibilities:Generate highly accurate and comprehensive steel detailing drawings, including shop drawings, erection drawings, and material lists, using advanced software like Tekla Structures.Interpret and analyze architectural and structural engineering drawings to identify potential issues and ensure design intent is met.Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and fabricators to resolve discrepancies and optimize detailing solutions.Perform thorough quality checks on all drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.Manage multiple projects concurrently, adhering to project timelines and delivery schedules.Contribute to the continuous improvement of detailing processes and standards within the team.Skills & Technologies: This role demands a strong command of Civil Engineering principles, a deep understanding of Steel Detailing methodologies, and expert proficiency with Tekla Structures. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in steel detailing for construction projects.Proven expertise in Civil Engineering and Engineering principles with a strong focus on structural steel.Exceptional proficiency in Steel Detailing, including the creation of shop and erection drawings.Mastery of Tekla Structures is an absolute must; experience with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.Solid understanding of structural analysis and the ability to interpret complex engineering designs.Excellent blueprint reading skills and a meticulous approach to construction documentation.Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail to identify and resolve potential fabrication and erection issues.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.A career level expectation of an Experienced professional ready to take ownership and deliver high-quality results.
