Job Description:The Site Storekeeper is responsible for managing all store operations at the construction site, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment to support project activities efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Receive and inspect all incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders and delivery notesStore materials properly to prevent damage, loss, or deteriorationIssue materials to site teams based on approved requestsMaintain accurate records of stock movements (in/out)Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the procurement teamConduct periodic physical inventory and reconcile with system recordsEnsure proper handling and storage of construction materials (cement, steel, tools, etc.)Prepare daily/weekly inventory and consumption reportsCoordinate with site engineers and procurement departmentEnsure compliance with safety and site regulations Job Requirements:Qualifications:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (Logistics, Commerce, or relevant field preferred)2–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in construction sitesSkills:Good knowledge of construction materials and site requirementsExperience in inventory control and stock managementGood command of MS ExcelStrong attention to detail and organization skillsOther Requirements:Ability to work in site conditionsGood communication skills with engineers and workersAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlines
