Egypt Education Platform is looking for a knowledgeable and strategic Strategic & Sourcing Associate Manager to join our procurement team. In this key role, you will lead procurement initiatives, oversee supplier management, and ensure the efficient acquisition of goods and services that support our educational objectives.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring timely delivery of quality goods and servicesManage the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance team performanceEvaluate supplier performance through regular assessments, managing relationships to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standardsConduct market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliersCollaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and drive procurement efficiencyPrepare and manage procurement budgets, ensuring compliance and tracking spend against targetsOversee and implement best practices in procurement processes, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirementsPrepare and present procurement reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunitiesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certification preferred5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a proven record of strategic sourcingStrong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing team membersExcellent negotiation skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong supplier relationshipsProficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindsetStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizationsFluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageousTo apply, please submit your CV along with a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and achievements in procurement.
