Subtitling Specialist (Night & Overnight)

Join us if you're passionate about entertainment, innovation and customer service excellence!Primary Responsibilities:Perform all QC, QA, conformance, and technical tasks related to localization asset check, reformat or delivery to internal or external parties in different business lines such as OTT, broadcast, and CEAAdhere to client spec and internal checklists and workflowsReview technical specifications to recommend checks for quality control process and to facilitate R&D for possible automated checksContinuously research and identify new tools and systems to enhance operational workflowsUpdate workflows and checklists according to client specifications as neededParticipate in training and development activities in the Localization Department within the scope of Subtitling Technical Services and use the knowledge gained through training in performing day-to-day tasksOther tasks as assigned to fulfil responsibilitiesRequirementsBachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, media or relevant majors1-2 years of experience and/or education in localization (subtitling or dubbing)Some experience in digital media, entertainment, audio or video editing or translationStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to perform under pressure with changing priorities and tight deadlines, and to shift between different client requirements and style guidesPositive attitude toward teamworkPositive attitude toward learning new skills and handling different projectsExperience in localization (subtitling or dubbing) is highly desirableKnowledge of professional subtitling software is highly desirableAbility to work on night/overnight/weekend/rotational shiftHigh level of attention to details, accurate and methodical approach to testing, and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentHighly focused and not easily distractedHigh sense of ownership and commitmentShift details:Night shift from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AMOvernight shift from 12:30 AM to 9:30 AMTransportation from/to certain spots to/from officeWhy should you join us?At Pixelogic, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and engaging environment.
