Publication date : Mar 24, 2026, 8:31AMPurpose of the jobDevelop the Core Network elements through the introduction of new technologies/services to fulfill the network and Business needs and Provide Core Network capacity in order to fulfill the sales forecast needs.Duties and responsibilitiesStudy the introduction of new technologies and services to the Core Network.Plan the Core Network capacity growth based on the available capacity on the switches versus the sales forecast.Plan the IMS capacity growth based on the sales and th enew servicesDevelop the global network capacity growth plan and share it with the concerned teams; Core Switching, Packet Core, Transmission & RAN, production, & VAS so that each team can plan the requirements from his side.Act as Project Manager for the SW upgrade project over the IMS and the Core Network switchesSupervise the implementation of new services and new network elements.Interface with the capacity team in the budget related subject and in the Core Network capacity issues.Handle any IOT tests and the integration between any network element and the switch, and resolve any technical problem.Define and handle all the IOT tests for the IMS with all the network elments and Services platforms.Seek for ideas and solutions for Core Network architecture to enhance the network KPI's.Plan future capacity expansion and network development needs with internal customers for the Switches and the IMS.Issue a weekly progress report, to the Head of Converged Voice core engineering & impl. for the running projects and studies.Supervise the switches' & IMS elements performance indicators to achieve best quality of service.Job specificationEducationBachelor degree in Communication EngineeringExperienceMinimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in relevant roleBachelor's degree in communication engineeringGood knowledge in (Voice Core, Core Network, Core Switching, IMS, CS)Excellent communication and presentation skills.Quick learner with ability to search for new ideas.Able to work under stress.
