Job Summary:The Procurement Data Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing spending and supplier data to provide actionable insights that support strategic purchasing decisions. The role aims to optimize the procurement cycle, reduce costs, and ensure supplier compliance with quality and performance standards through data-driven reporting.Key Responsibilities:Spend Analysis: Categorize and analyze company expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce financial waste.Supplier Performance Evaluation: Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate suppliers in terms of quality, delivery timelines, and pricing.Database Management: Clean and update procurement data within ERP systems to ensure information accuracy and reliability.Demand Forecasting: Build models to estimate future inventory needs and anticipate market price fluctuations.Periodic Reporting: Prepare regular reports detailing procurement status, achieved savings, and identified risks for senior management.Negotiation Support: Provide the procurement team with accurate data and price benchmarks to strengthen the company’s position during supplier negotiations.
