The WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean is one of WHO’s 6 regional offices around the world. It serves the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Region, which comprises 21 Member States and occupied Palestinian territory (including East Jerusalem), with a population of nearly 679 million people.ContextWith WHO’s support, countries in the Eastern Mediterranean Region are collecting and reporting data on the progress and achievements in implementing the action plan on AMR. The assignment will focus on strengthening the analysis and usability of country-reported data from the WHO TrACSS platform. This assignment gives you the opportunity to apply your data analysis skills to a real-world global health challenge. You will also learn from WHO experts and collaborate with professionals across the region, enhancing your experience in AMR and public health data systems.Task descriptionThe three online volunteers will work under the guidance of Acting Regional AMR Adviser with the AMR-IPC-One Health Unit, WHO Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office, and willl : Extract data (from pdf files) submitted by countries to TrACSS https://www.amrcountryprogress.org/ Clean and structure the datasets for selected indicators Generate analytical outputs (tables and visualizations) Summarize key findings in short reports. Compare with the data from previous years for the same variables and crate a data dashboard. Document the workflow for capacity building and future use. Final Deliverables: Cleaned and structured datasets in excel files. Analytical outputs including tables and visualizations. A summary report highlighting key trends and findings.
