Want to become part of us? #shapeandcreateOversee the operating systems (such as Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization platforms (such as VMware, Hyper-V) that support on-premises applications and services.Ensure system stability, security patching, and resource allocation.Monitors system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to prevent service interruptions.Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning and testing.Implement and maintain security configurations, adhering to company’s security policies and industry best practices.Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation and integration of systems.Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT personnel as needed.Perform additional duties as assigned.Your profile:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant technical certification is an asset.3+ years' experience with various operating systems, networking fundamentals and server hardware is crucial.Strong understanding of virtualization technologies.Experience with scripting languages for automation is a plus.Familiarity with monitoring tools.Excellent verbal and written English language.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to diagnose complex technical issues quickly and implement effective, lasting solutions.Clearly articulates technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as providing excellent support to our internal users.Effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve target goals and business requirements.Monitor and identify potential issues to ensuring comprehensive security and compliance.Ability to multitask, respond immediately to critical incidents, and resolve issues.Continuously adapt to technological advancements, proactively anticipate challenges, and improve system performance and reliability.Ability to respond effectively to immediate threats and critical incidents.Think outside the box with us! #shapeandcreate
