Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to lead corporate and international tax compliance, reporting, and audit functions. The successful candidate will ensure full regulatory adherence by leveraging deep expertise in local and international tax laws, IFRS, and Oracle (Tax Portal) systems.This is a dual-site role, requiring attendance at both our Zahraa El Maadi and Ain Sokhna locations. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can see your work applied directly to infrastructure operations, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and execute the filing of corporate and international tax returns in strict accordance with local legislation.Manage and verify timely tax reporting for multiple streams, including VAT, withholding tax, sales tax, and payroll tax.Compile documentation and comprehensive reports for tax audits and serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries.Partner with internal finance and legal teams, along with external auditors, to ensure enterprise-wide tax compliance.Maintain a proactive understanding of evolving local/international tax regulations and global tax treaties.Master the use of Oracle (Tax Portal) for all financial and tax reporting requirements.Ensure all tax accounting and compliance activities are fully aligned with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree of Commerce in accounting, Finance, or Taxation is required. A master’s degree in taxation or a related field is highly desirable.Experience: A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in tax accounting and compliance.Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax mechanisms, and international tax treaties.Software Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience using Oracle (Tax Portal) for reporting purposes.Key CompetenciesAnalytical Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve complex tax-related issues through data-driven insights.Precision & Accuracy: Exceptional attention to detail in tax calculations and financial documentation.Collaborative Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional projects.Stakeholder Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal management and external regulatory bodies.
