Through style, to highlight our offering and emphasize our fashion.Namshi is part of the noon Group.Role Overview The Marketplace Operations Team Leader is responsible for executing and optimizing day-to-day marketplace operations while directly managing a team of Marketplace Ops Executives. This role focuses on ensuring smooth seller onboarding, catalog quality, fulfillment performance, and post-order operations, while maintaining high operational standards and SLA adherence. The role plays a key part in seller go-live readiness and knowledge execution, including delivering training, maintaining operational documentation, and ensuring sellers are fully equipped to operate effectively on the platform.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily marketplace operations, ensuring smooth execution across onboarding, catalog, fulfillment, and post-order processes.Monitor and drive performance on key operational KPIs (Fulfillment%, OOS%, returns, SLA adherence).Identify and resolve operational issues in real-time, escalating when needed.Coordinate closely with internal teams (Logistics, CX, Finance, Product tech) to resolve operational bottlenecks.Support implementation of new processes, features, and policy updates on the ground.Deliver seller onboarding training sessions and ensure sellers are fully prepared for go-live.Support the creation and continuous improvement of training materials, guides, and process documentation.Identify recurring seller challenges and provide structured feedback to improve training content.Execute and update seller-facing knowledge base content in alignment with process and policy changes.Ensure all documentation is clear, practical, and easy for sellers to follow.Work with the Manager to implement structure and improvements to the knowledge base.Ensure latest SOPs and guidelines are consistently applied by both sellers and internal teams.Track daily and weekly operational metrics and team performance.Analyze basic operational data to identify trends, gaps, and immediate improvement actions.Prepare regular reports on team performance and seller operational health.Manage and coach Marketplace Ops Executives on a day-to-day basis.Ensure clear task ownership, workload distribution, and SLA adherence within the team.Monitor team performance and provide continuous feedback and development support.Maintain high levels of accountability, discipline, and operational excellence.Requirements3–5+ years of experience in marketplace operations, seller operations, or e-commerce operations.Strong understanding of marketplace workflows (onboarding, catalog, fulfillment, post-order).Hands-on experience in executing operational processes.Experience in training sellers or internal teams is a strong plus.Basic analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret operational data.Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.Nice to HaveExperience working in a high-growth marketplace or startup environment.Familiarity with operational dashboards and reporting tools.Exposure to process improvement or SOP design.Who will excel?We’re looking for people with high standards, who understand that hard work matters.You need to be relentlessly resourceful and operate with a deep bias for action.We need people with the courage to be fiercely original.
