Technical Office Chief Engineer - Electrical

Job Purpose:To Supervise project’s design reviews, drawings, processes, and procedures in order to implementthe shop drawing designs, quantity surveying systems and material management systems andproceduresRoles & Responsibilities:· Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.· Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).· Audit & review shop and coordination drawings (or composite drawing) based on project’s designdrawings in accurate with quality standard.· Coordinate with other trades to solve any conflict between various Engineering disciplines.· Review the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to consultant for approvals.· Audit requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical mattersthat may arise during construction.· Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate theirapproval process with the project consultant.· Supervise the coordination of all the information about land coordinates and any sitemeasurement required.· Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that mayarise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solve.· Supervise & Audit the as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand over to the projectconsultant.· Supervise & Audit material submittal in conjunction with material to be and approved by theconsultant.· Ensure that employee is working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, and fullyaware of his job risk assessment and environmental aspects.MINIMUN QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:Education/ Qualifications: BSC Engineering - ElectricalWork Experience 8+ years’ experience - High Voltage Substation experience is a mustLanguage Good command of English languageComputer Skills MS office, Auto Cad
