Prepare and review shop drawings based on project design drawings and specifications.Coordinate with site engineers to resolve any technical issues or discrepancies.Prepare material submittals, technical data sheets, and ensure consultant approval.Study project specifications, drawings, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).Perform quantity take-offs and assist in cost estimation.Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical) to avoid clashes.Review and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information).Ensure all mechanical works comply with codes and standards.Track project progress and prepare technical reports when required.Assist in procurement by providing technical support and material specifications. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.1-2 years of experience in technical office or MEP projects.Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.Familiarity with local and international codes and standards.Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software (Revit is a must).Strong understanding of mechanical systems and shop drawings.Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
