Job PurposeLead and own Technical Office and Tendering activities for Fire Protection projects with a primary focus on Oil & Gas applications. Accountable for delivering compliant engineering solutions, driving technical excellence, overseeing technical procurement activities, and ensuring timely delivery of technical outputs throughout the project lifecycle in alignment with applicable codes, client requirements, and business objectives.Key Responsibilities1. Technical Office & EngineeringLead the preparation, review, and approval of engineering deliverables including hydraulic calculations, technical studies, shop drawings, and technical documentation.Ensure all fire protection designs and technical outputs comply with project specifications, client requirements, NFPA standards, and applicable international codes.Lead the engineering and design activities related to:Sprinkler SystemsFire Pumps SystemsFoam Fire Suppression SystemsClean Agent Systems (CO₂, FM-200™, NOVEC™, INERGEN™)Wet & Dry Chemical Suppression SystemsFire Trace SystemsConventional & Addressable Fire Detection and Alarm SystemsFire Suppression Release and Control SystemsReview and validate engineering assumptions, calculations, and technical solutions to ensure accuracy, constructability, and cost effectiveness.2. Tendering & Commercial Technical LeadershipLead the review and evaluation of tender documents, specifications, BOQs, and client requirements.Prepare and approve technical and commercial proposals in coordination with relevant stakeholders.Develop optimized and cost-effective technical solutions aligned with project requirements and business objectives.Lead technical clarification meetings and represent the company in technical discussions with clients during tender and pre-award stages.3. Technical Procurement & Vendor ManagementLead technical procurement activities including technical evaluation, product selection, and technical compliance assessment.Define technical requirements for procurement packages and support purchase order initiation for critical systems and equipment.Lead technical engagement with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and delivery requirements.4. Project Technical Leadership & Cross-Functional AlignmentEnsure technical readiness and successful execution support across active projects.Drive resolution of technical challenges and provide direction during engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning stages.Align with Projects, Manufacturing, Installation, Maintenance, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless project delivery.Monitor technical performance and ensure achievement of project milestones and technical objectives.5. Technical Governance & DocumentationOwn the preparation, review, and approval of technical submittals, Material Take-Offs (MTOs), transmittals, and project documentation.Ensure proper document control and technical records throughout all project phases.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance technical office effectiveness, quality, and operational efficiency.
