Technical Officer

Lead technical assessments, feasibility studies, system design reviews, and performance evaluations for solar PV and renewable energy projects.Develop and review technical specifications, engineering designs, tender documents, and project deliverables to ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and best practices.Conduct and supervise site surveys, technical inspections, commissioning activities, and quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.Evaluate and approve PV system designs, equipment selection, and electrical infrastructure, ensuring technical and financial viability.Monitor project implementation and operational performance, analyze technical data, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.Perform technical due diligence and provide expert recommendations for renewable energy investments and project development activities.Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, utilities, government entities, and development partners to ensure successful project delivery.Prepare technical reports, presentations, project documentation, and management briefings.Support the development and delivery of training programs, technical guidelines, and capacity-building activities.Provide technical supervision, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and project staff.Undertake site visits and travel within Egypt as required for project implementation and stakeholder engagement. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.3–6 years of relevant experience in solar PV, renewable energy, energy efficiency, or electrical power projects.Proven experience in the design, implementation, commissioning, and performance assessment of PV systems.Strong understanding of electrical systems, grid integration, and renewable energy technologies.Experience in managing technical consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).    Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong knowledge of PV system design, performance modeling, and technical due diligence.Familiarity with electrical studies, including load flow, voltage drop, protection coordination, and system sizing.Proficiency in technical reporting, proposal evaluation, and project documentation.Effective use of AI-powered tools for technical analysis, reporting, and productivity enhancement.
