Role Purpose, Key Responsibilities & Duties:The Workday Techno-Functional Lead is responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation and management of Workday HCM across Transmed: 14 countries to be rolled out and supported in addition to the localization and compliance for the various countries.The role drives the translation of business requirements into scalable Workday setup, ensuring successful system design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment. It plays a critical role in delivering a high-quality, future-ready HR platform aligned with Transmed’s digital transformation objectives.The role operates at the intersection of HR, IT, and implementation partners, ensuring that Workday implementation and changes are deployed on time, within scope, and delivers measurable business value.Key Competencies & Skills: Program & Delivery Leadership: Lead the full Workday implementation lifecycle: Discovery & requirements gathering, Solution design, Configuration & build, Data migrationTesting, Go-Live & Hypercare: Define and lead SIT/UAT, Ensure test coverage, defect resolution, and business sign-off, Prepare cutover strategy and go-live planLead hypercare support and stabilization phase; Ensure smooth transition to BAU support modelEnsure alignment between business expectations and system capabilitiesTrack risks, issues, and dependencies and drive mitigation actionsFunctional LeadershipLead design workshops with HR and Payroll stakeholdersTranslate business requirements into Workday business process frameworks (BPF)Oversee configuration of Core HCM (org structures, staffing models), Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation & Benefits in addition to Payroll and other HR Internal enterprise systems IntegrationValidate solution design against best practices and scalability requirementsTechnical & Integration LeadershipSupport the integration management/development using EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, Workday StudioEnsure data migration strategy, cleansing, and validationDrive reporting strategy (operational & leadership dashboards)Governance & Stakeholder ManagementAct as primary interface between Business (HR, Payroll), IT teams and Implementation partnersProvide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and decisions requiredEnsure governance, documentation, and audit readinessValue Realization & TransformationEnsure Workday implementation delivers Process simplification, Automation and efficiency and Improved employee experienceIdentify opportunities to standardize and optimize HR processesLeading and supporting the change management and user adoption initiatives: technical, train-the-trainer, market champion network, and communications planningEnsure applications and solutions development activities adhere to the highest standards of user experience, documentation, configuration runbooks, quality, security, and compliance requirementsRole RequirementsAcademic Education & Professional CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related domain. Master in Business Administration or related field is a plus.8+ years of hands-on Workday experience.Proven experience in at least one full Workday implementationWorkday certifications preferred (HCM / Integrations)Operational & Managerial ExperienceStrong implementation experience (must-have, not just support)Experience leading workshops, design decisions, and system configurationHands-on experience with Workday integrations and data migrationStrong project delivery discipline (Agile/Hybrid)Proven ability to lead cross-functional and vendor teamsStrong issue resolution and decision-making under pressureTechnical Skills & KnowledgeWorkday HCM (Core HR, Absence, Compensation)Workday Integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio)Data migration and validation techniquesReporting (Calculated Fields, Advanced Reports)Understanding of APIs, XML, XSLT
