By combining technology with local expertise, ZORO MISR aims to optimize the traveler experience from initial planning through the end of each trip.Role Description The Tourism Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of tourism services and experiences, ensuring that travelers receive a high standard of service from arrival to departure. This full-time, on-site role, based in Cairo, Egypt, includes managing guided tours, aligning itineraries with customer needs, and coordinating with local guides, drivers, and service providers. The Tourism Manager will monitor service quality, resolve escalated customer issues, and respond to traveler inquiries before, during, and after their trips. The role also involves collaborating with the marketing team on tourism promotions, monitoring booking trends, and providing input on new experiences or packages based on customer feedback and market insights. The Tourism Manager will prepare regular performance reports, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes.QualificationsTourism Management and Tourism skills, with experience in planning, organizing, and overseeing tourism operations and packages.Guided Tours experience, including coordinating itineraries, briefing guides, and ensuring tours meet safety and quality standards.Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, manage expectations, and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.Tourism Marketing knowledge, including supporting promotional campaigns, understanding target segments, and providing input on marketable experiences.Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic and additional languages is an advantage.Proven experience in the tourism or travel industry in Egypt, preferably in a supervisory or management role.Ability to work on-site in Cairo, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams.Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Familiarity with digital booking platforms, basic data reporting, and standard office software.
