Key Accountabilities:- Day-to-day Operations: Manages the day-to-day operations of Trade Marketing to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures. Communications between Sales & Marketing Coordinates Sales & Marketing meetings and communications by arranging meeting schedules, ways of communication to ensure full alignment between both departments. Ensure Sales Managers' acknowledgment of trade marketing activities by establishing regular Communication with sales managers to get their alignment and support. Implementing Trade Marketing activitiesDevelop and implement monthly trade activities for priority trade channels to meet brand volume share and profit objectives, in conjunction with marketing, and conduct post-evaluation of activities’ deliverables against set KPI’s. Point of Sale Material development and deployment Manage POSM development and deployment by communicating and following up with Sales managers, Marketing, Purchasing, and logistics departments to ensure POSM is delivered on time and deployed with maximum impact. Market VisitsMonitors trade activities by conducting regular market visits to get proof of performance and report back execution standards & conducting random market visits to ensure Savola visibility standards are implemented effectively and efficiently. Brand CompetitivenessEnsure consistent competitiveness of brand mix by analyzing the competitor activities of retail and commodity and suggest suitable actions, in order to maintain brand volume, hence, market share. Demand forecast cyclePlay a key role in the demand forecast cycle by developing a standardized process, including communication format, submission timing, and revision/ corrective actions to achieve agreed targets. Pricing strategyDevelop pricing strategy per Category/Brand/SKU, and per channel, in conjunction with NSMs, Marketing, and Finance, by continuous update to supply cost and competition/market price changes to ensure sustainability of PASTA competitive pricing positioning all the time. ProjectsConducts a price analysis project across all trade channels by communicating with Sales Managers to get guidelines and recommendations for the pricing strategy.Supervise the implementation of projects to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope, and quality), standards, and objectives.Ensure trade marketing activities excellence of execution by tracking, following up, and reporting on activities execution to ensure activities objectives are met on target. In-store advertising materialsManage the development, production, and installation of in-store advertising materials, according to category/ brand strategy, in order to maximize the awareness, standing, and imagery of strategic brands in the priority trade channels within budget and on time.Trade Marketing Development / Continuous Improvement Identify market, channel/category/brands, and account weaknesses/opportunities and develop priorities by collating and analyzing data from trade marketing reports, research, retail audits, and customer/account sales in order to provide recommendations and solutions to further enhance trade marketing performance. Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.Support distributors growth/targets Drive distributor sales volume growth and achievement of distribution targets by developing an appropriate channel strategy in conjunction with NSMs to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets across local channels, category/brands.Qualifications:ᴧ Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Equivalent.ᴧ Experience: 4 to 6 Years of relevant experience in sales operations/ Demand planning in the FMCG field at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.ᴧ Language: Good in English (spoken and written).ᴧ Skills:- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting and presentation tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong knowledge of demand forecasting methods, sales planning processes, and data analysis tools.
