Volunteers will support staff in daily activities that promote children’s developmental, social, and emotional growth, such as assisting with structured play, learning exercises, and group activities. Responsibilities may include helping prepare learning materials, setting up activity areas, observing children’s engagement, and offering encouragement and guidance under staff supervision. Volunteers may also support basic administrative or organizational tasks, such as organizing resources or helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This role is suited for individuals who are motivated to contribute time and care to children’s development and to learn from experienced child development professionals.Qualifications Strong interest in child development, education, psychology, or related fields, with a genuine commitment to supporting children facing challenges.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact calmly, respectfully, and patiently with children, families, and team members.Ability to follow guidance from supervisors, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to safety and safeguarding guidelines at all times.Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a regular volunteer schedule on-site in New Cairo.Previous experience working or volunteering with children is an asset but not required; openness to training and feedback is essential.Basic English and/or Arabic language skills sufficient for everyday communication in a child-centered environment.
