Title: WAN Management Team LeaderSector: Information & Communication TechnologyRole DescriptionOversee the monitoring of network performance in the buildings, large branches, BM third parties and subsidiaries to proactively identify issues such as outages, slow performance or security threats.Ensure that the buildings network operation team respond promptly to the service desk tickets and any other reported network incidents.Leading the response to network incidents in the buildings and third parties, ensuring proper escalation procedures are followed, coordinating with other teams if required and providing updates to the management about the incident's status.Lead the changes to the buildings/third parties network hardware, including upgrades, patches or new devices installations while minimizing disruptions to branch services.Handling the technical escalations for the network cores relating to WAN, third parties and offsite ATMs.Guiding the team in troubleshooting and fixing the network issues.Ensure root cause analysis is conducts after any network incident to prevent recurrence.Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, incident responses and change management activities.Provide regular reports to management on branches network performance, incidents and team activities.Technical CompetenciesSignificant Experience from (8-10) in networking concepts and routing protocols “preferably Cisco”, network operation, infrastructure management and troubleshooting techniques.Strong knowledge with Routing and switching is essential.Strong knowledge in applying software defined networks, preferably Cisco.Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.Good knowledge with the other network hardware such as Huawei and Junipers.Good knowledge with Telecom exchanges operation.Domain ExpertiseBachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field is typically requiredCCNA/CCNP/CCIE (Routing & Switching) & SD-WAN are preferred, or any other related certificates.
