With an operational footprint spanning over 90 countries across four continents, and manufacturing sites in eight countries, we offer more than 2,000 medicines across various therapeutic areas worldwide.The Warehouse Manager will lead and manage all warehouse and materials-handling operations for a large pharmaceutical manufacturing site, ensuring safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective storage and movement of raw materials, APIs, excipients, packaging components, intermediates, and finished goods.The role ensures full compliance with GMP/GxP, EDA, MOH, HSE, and internal quality standards while supporting uninterrupted manufacturing and maintaining optimal inventory levels.The job holder will be based in our site in Cairo, al Obour City and reporting to the Supply Chain Director.Your responsibilities:1) Warehouse Operations ManagementOversee daily operations for RM/PM warehouses, finished goods warehouse.Ensure accurate receiving, storage, sampling, and issuance of GMP materials.Maintain controlled conditions—temperature, humidity, status labels, FEFO, segregation, and security of high-risk/controlled materials.Ensure accuracy during material dispensing in line with batch manufacturing records and GMP requirements.Oversee warehouse layout optimization, material flow, FIFO/FEFO application, and storage capacity planning.2) Compliance, Quality, & Audit ReadinessEnsure compliance with GMP/GxP, GDP, EDA/MOH regulations, and internal SOPs.Maintain immaculate documentation: logbooks, receiving records, stock status, deviation reports, and change control.Support audits (internal, external, EDA, corporate) and close corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).Ensure proper cleaning validation, pest control, calibration of instruments (balances, data loggers), and warehouse qualification.3) Inventory Control & SystemsManage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and annual physical inventory.Control expiry management, shelf-life tracking, slow-moving/obsolete materials, and quarantine processes.Ensure ERP accuracy (SAP / Oracle / D365): goods receipt, batch status, stock transfers, and real-time posting.Implement and maintain warehouse KPIs: inventory accuracy, discrepancy rate, DOH, OTIF issuance, cycle count adherence.4) Safety & Compliance with EHSEnforce adherence to EHS, HACCP, fire safety, and material handling safety standards.Ensure safe operation of forklifts, stackers, pallet trucks, and other equipment.Conduct regular safety training, risk assessments, and promote a zero-accident culture.5) Logistics & Internal CoordinationCoordinate closely with Planning, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Finance for smooth material flow.Manage inbound logistics from suppliers and ensure timely clearance, sampling, and release.Work with QA for material release, status labelling, rejection handling, and storage of rejected/returned goods.Support outbound logistics for finished goods in collaboration with the distribution/dispatch team.6) Continuous Improvement & DigitalizationDrive Lean/Kaizen initiatives to optimize processes, reduce lead times, and enhance storage capacity.Introduce automation tools (scanners, mobile warehousing, barcode/RFID) where feasible.Streamline SOPs, material flow diagrams, and process documentation for efficiency and compliance.7) Leadership & People DevelopmentLead and develop warehouse teams; set clear objectives and performance standards.Build capability in GMP warehousing, material handling safety, and ERP usage.Implement strong workforce planning for shift coverage, overtime optimization, and talent pipeline development.This is the opportunity to join a very dynamic organization, where decisions are taken fast and where you can actively participate in shaping our future. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.8–12+ years of experience in warehousing, with at least 3–5 years in GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing.Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP, EFDA storage rules, cold-chain management, and audit expectations.Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/D365) and warehouse technologies (barcode scanners, handhelds).Strong understanding of inventory control principles, batch management, and FEFO/FIFO.Fluent in Arabic and English.
