RINA is currently looking for a Certified Welding Engineer certified, with experience in the oil and gas sector to work on behalf of RINA for our client in Cairo, Egypt.Requested:Welding Engineer (min. 6 years) with relevant experience in the construction of oil & gas or petrochemical industry facilities(pressure vessels, tanks, mechanical fabrication, pipelines, piping, etc.);Certificates required: EWE, IWE, CWeng;Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society; the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;Job Description:Review and approve welding activities (welding consumable, process selection and controls, WPS PQR, weld repair procedure, welder qualification.Support Corrosion and materials departments on the material selection with respect to welding as on when required, address technical queries/ variances on welding.Support Quality team for review Vendor Welding deliverables, ITP reviews of welding activities.Location:Cairo, Egypt.Period:June 2026.Contract:To Freelancer or to Inspector agencies, for ad hoc activitiesIf you have the requested experience and if you are interested, please send your English CV to elisa.gaione@rina.org
