Wet Utilities Technical Office EngineerLocation: North Coast, EgyptJob SummaryWe are seeking a Wet Utilities Technical Office Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to support the planning and execution of infrastructure projects involving potable water, sewerage, stormwater drainage, irrigation, and firefighting networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, quantity take-offs, material submittals, technical documentation, and coordinating with site teams to ensure smooth project execution in accordance with project specifications and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction details for wet utility infrastructure works.Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from drawings and project specifications.Prepare material submittals, technical submittals, RFIs, and method statements.Coordinate with site engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure proper implementation of approved drawings.Review IFC drawings, contract documents, and technical specifications.Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding technical matters.Track drawing revisions and maintain technical documentation.Support procurement by preparing material requests and verifying quantities.Assist in preparing monthly progress reports and project documentation.Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and quality standards.Participate in value engineering and technical solutions to optimize project execution. RequirementsEducationBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.Experience2–5 years of experience in Technical Office for infrastructure or wet utility projects.Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:Potable Water NetworksSewerage NetworksStormwater Drainage SystemsIrrigation NetworksFirefighting NetworksExperience in EPC, infrastructure, or construction projects is highly preferred.Technical SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD.Strong knowledge of quantity surveying and BOQ preparation.Experience preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.Good understanding of project specifications and construction standards.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.Knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and coordination abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Team player with a proactive attitude.Preferred QualificationsExperience working on large-scale infrastructure developments.Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and technical documentation.Previous experience in North Coast or similar fast-track construction projects is a plus.
