A leading company in the commercial and retail design-build sector is looking for a Woodworking CNC Programmer to join its team in Cairo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing production drawings, CAD models, and work orders to create and optimize CNC programs that ensure efficient and accurate production processes.This role requires strong experience in architectural millwork and casework, along with the ability to translate design drawings into machine-readable code for CNC machinery.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze production drawings, CAD models, and work orders to develop, test, and optimize CNC programs.Ensure accurate dimensions and efficient machining processes during production cycles.Utilize CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, Rhino, Alphacam, or similar CAM tools) to convert designs into CNC machine programs.Select and manage appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates for wood components.Improve machining processes to increase productivity and reduce production time.Provide technical support and troubleshooting to the production team when needed. Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural millwork or casework as a CNC Programmer.Minimum 5 years of experience using AutoCAD.Experience working with Rhino.Minimum 5 years of experience using Alphacam or other CAM software.Experience with Homag CNC machines is considered a strong advantage.Preferred SkillsStrong understanding of millwork production processes.Excellent attention to detail and precision.Ability to work closely with production and engineering teams.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
