This role is responsible for driving client growth, revenue expansion, and long-term partnership value, while ensuring work is scoped, priced, and delivered in a commercially sound way across all departments and services. The Account Director is not a project manager they are a senior client leader and growth driver, balancing client trust, internal alignment, and business performance.Key Responsibilities:Client Leadership & OwnershipOwn senior client relationships and act as the main point of accountabilityBuild long-term, trusted partnerships with key client stakeholdersEnsure high client satisfaction, retention, and relationship continuityLead strategic conversations beyond day-to-day executionRevenue Growth & UpsellingDrive revenue growth across existing clients through upselling and cross-sellingIdentify opportunities across Social, Production, Web, and PR servicesLead commercial discussions, proposals, and scope expansionsWork with internal teams to shape commercially viable solutionsCommercial & Scope ManagementOwn scoping, pricing, and commercial structure of client engagementsEnsure all work is clearly defined, sold within agreed margins, and aligned with internal capacityProtect the agency from scope creep and underpricingEscalate pricing exceptions and discounts when requiredStrategic Account PlanningUnderstand client business objectives, challenges, and KPIsTranslate client needs into clear strategic directions for internal teamsSupport annual and quarterly planning for key accountsEnsure work aligns with both client goals and agency growth targets Internal Coordination & CollaborationWork closely with Creative, Strategy, Production, Technology, PR, and Media teamsCoordinate cross-department efforts without bias toward any single service lineEnsure briefs are clear, realistic, and aligned with delivery capabilitiesAct as the bridge between client expectations and internal executionDelivery Oversight (Not Execution)Maintain high-level oversight of delivery quality and timelinesStep in only when delivery, scope, or client satisfaction is at riskSupport teams in resolving challenges without micromanaging executionRequirements:5+ years of experience in a digital, social, or integrated agencyProven experience managing senior client relationshipsDemonstrated track record of growing existing accountsExperience working with complex, multi-service clientsSkills & StrengthsStrong commercial and negotiation skillsClear understanding of agency economics, scope, and marginsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to balance client needs with internal realitiesStrategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilityRegional & Cultural FitExperience working with Middle East / GCC clientsStrong understanding of regional business and communication dynamicsArabic language is a strong plusHow to Apply:Please send your resume, portfolio links and work samples showcasing why you're a perfect fit for this role.
