Job Purpose:The Social Media Account Manager is responsible for leading the strategic and operational execution of client social media portfolios. They oversee all aspects of content planning, campaign management, reporting, and performance optimization for a set of key clients. The Manager acts as the primary liaison between clients and the internal agency team and plays a critical role in building trust, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering campaign excellence.This leadership role balances strategic oversight with hands-on execution, mentoring junior staff while aligning with broader client business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Client-Facing Responsibilities:Act as the lead contact for assigned clients, owning the relationship and ensuring proactive communicationSet strategic social direction and content calendars aligned with client objectives and brand tonePresent and defend campaign strategies, reports, and performance insightsLead monthly/quarterly business reviews and performance analysis meetingsIdentify upselling and cross-selling opportunities (e.g., influencer campaigns, media boost budgets)Team Collaboration:Oversee and guide Account Executives, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are metCollaborate closely with creative, media buying, and video production teamsMaintain workflow efficiency and resolve cross-functional bottlenecksLeadership and Mentorship:Delegate tasks effectively and supervise content and campaign rolloutsProvide coaching, feedback, and development plans for direct reports (if applicable)Support onboarding of new social team members and ensure adherence to internal processesReporting Line:Deliver weekly and ad hoc strategic updates to senior managementParticipate in strategic planning meetings and support new business development efforts when requiredOperational Tasks:Ensure all campaigns are delivered on scope, on time, and within budgetApprove content, post schedules, and paid campaign parameters before client presentationTroubleshoot performance drops and initiate data-driven adjustmentsRequirementsRequired Qualifications:4-6 years of progressive experience in account manager in digital/social media , preferably within an marketing agency environmentDemonstrated success in managing social portfolios with large-scale content and paid campaignsStrong knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Google AnalyticsBachelor's degree in marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field. Desirable Skills:Strong leadership and team-building skillsExcellent client service and problem-solving abilitiesStrategic thinker with a creative approach to social storytellingFluent in data interpretation, KPI analysis, and report craftingExceptional multitasking, deadline management, and stakeholder alignment capabilitiesFluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written
