Job Requirements – Construction AccountantBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field1–3 years of proven experience in construction accountingPrevious experience in construction or real estate companies is a mustStrong experience in handling:Contractor payments and progress billingsProject BOQs and cost breakdownsContracts and work ordersSolid knowledge of:Direct and indirect project costsCost control and budget monitoringSuppliers and subcontractors accountsExperience in preparing project-based financial reportsProficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP systems are a plus)High attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong organizational and communication skillsTeam player with a problem-solving mindset Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 1 years and maximum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, cost control, and project financial management.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Experience with contract review, billing, and change order processes.Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.Familiarity with local tax laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
