The Accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording,verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Responsible for moderately complex generalledger related accounting functions including prepaid and accrual journal entries and reconciliationsthat require estimates. The duties require that strict deadlines must be met with respect to monthlyclosings, tax & insurance payments, and internal management reporting. S/He shall provide themanagement with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts, comparing budgetto actuals, and assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances. S/He willensure that the company’s accounting procedures and bookkeeping conform to the policies andprocedures of Innovvette and the Egyptian accounting principles and guidelines. S/He isaccountable to immediately report any deviations from agreed-upon standards, and to suggestsplans for rectification & correction in areas needing improvement. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the GenerallyAccepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS accounting requirements. Experience with general ledger functions. Strong attention to detail and effective analytical abilities with a high degree of resilience,and robust capability to manage multiple tasks. Remarkable professional work ethics & business sense, demonstrating honesty, integrity andcommitment to confidentiality. Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a widerange of constituencies in a diverse community.Ability to self-motivate, establish priorities, work independently and proceed with achievingobjectives & meeting deadlines with minimum supervision.
