The General Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy of accounting records, and supporting financial reporting. The role covers Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Taxation, Banking, and Financial Reporting functions.. Accounts Payable (AP)Process vendor invoices and ensure proper approvalsMatch invoices with purchase orders and delivery notesPrepare and execute payments (cash, checks, bank transfers)Maintain vendor accounts and resolve discrepanciesMonitor due dates and avoid late payments2. Accounts Receivable (AR)Issue customer invoices accurately and on timeTrack incoming payments and update recordsFollow up on outstanding balances and overdue accountsReconcile customer accounts and resolve disputesPrepare aging reports3. TaxationPrepare and submit tax returnsEnsure compliance with local tax regulationsMaintain proper tax documentation and records.
