Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Professional looking to take the next step in your career?Our client, a reputable Law Firm & Legal Consultancy based in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an Accounting Expert to join their Accounting and Advisory team in Egypt. The role supports financial, legal, and operational accounting functions, including liquidation, bankruptcy cases, and legal financial reporting.This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sheikh Zayed, Egypt, working closely with the Saudi headquarters. It offers a strong opportunity to work in a highly professional legal and consultancy environment.If you are highly organized, analytically strong, and experienced in advanced accounting and regulatory compliance, this is an excellent opportunity to grow in a specialized professional services setting.Key Responsibilities:Record daily accounting entries in line with approved accounting standards Maintain accurate and well-organized accounting records (digital and physical) Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions and supporting documents Perform monthly and quarterly closing activities Prepare trial balances and periodic financial reports Prepare and review bank reconciliations and account reconciliations Support preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure tax compliance Monitor tax and zakat obligations and coordinate with relevant authorities Manage accounting activities related to liquidation and bankruptcy cases Prepare financial reports supporting legal cases and disputes Track revenues and expenses related to legal and liquidation processes Support trustees, lawyers, and stakeholders with financial reporting Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls Perform additional accounting and reporting tasks as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent Minimum 8 years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting Good understanding of tax regulations in Saudi Arabia and Egypt Excellent command of Arabic (native level) Strong English language skills (written and spoken) Experience in VAT filing and tax complianceTechnical Skills:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint Experience with ERP systems (such as Zoho or similar) Familiarity with accounting systems and reporting toolsAdditional Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle complex and confidential financial data Prefered QualificationsPrevious experience in one of the Big 10 audit firms in Egypt Experience working in Saudi Arabia or familiarity with its regulatory environment Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or IFRS Training or certification in Forensic Accounting is an advantageWork Conditions:Full-time, on-site role Location: Sheikh Zayed, Egypt Candidates must be based near the office locationIf this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please send your CV to merna.magdy@deskhub.online
