The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations within the Facility Management company. This includes managing general accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The role requires strong experience in handling service-based contracts, cost allocation, and multi-site operations. 1.Financial Management & ReportingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure accurate and timely closing of accountsMonitor cash flow, revenue recognition, and expense trackingDevelop financial reports for management decision-making2. Budgeting & Cost ControlPrepare and monitor annual budgets for FM projects and operationsTrack actual vs. budgeted costs across multiple sites/contractsAnalyze variances and provide recommendationsControl operational costs (maintenance, manpower, subcontractors)3. Accounts Payable & ReceivableOversee invoicing for FM contracts (monthly service invoices, variations, etc.)Ensure timely collection from clientsManage vendor payments and subcontractor invoicesMaintain strong follow-up on receivables4. Contract & Project AccountingHandle accounting for long-term FM contractsMonitor contract profitability and cost allocation per siteSupport commercial and operations teams with financial insightsReview contract terms from a financial perspective5. Compliance & AuditEnsure compliance with local tax laws, VAT regulations, and company policiesCoordinate with external auditors and manage audit processesMaintain proper documentation and financial controls6. Team ManagementSupervise and guide the accounting teamAssign tasks and ensure deadlines are metSupport team development and performance evaluation7. Systems & Process ImprovementManage ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo)Improve accounting processes and internal controlsEnsure data accuracy across systems Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldProfessional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus10–15 years of experience, preferably in Facility Management, Construction, or Services industryStrong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost controlExperience in contract-based accounting is essentialProficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
