Team members work in a collaborative environment oriented toward service quality and operational excellence.Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Accounting Manager at Elite Projects Qatar. The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role includes preparing, analyzing, and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as monitoring cash flow, budgets, and forecasts. The Accounting Manager will supervise the fixed assets register, ensure proper capitalization and depreciation, and support year-end closing and audits. The individual will also ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and recommend process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting.QualificationsStrong financial reporting skills, including preparation and review of financial statements and supporting schedules.Proficiency in core accounting activities such as journal entries, general ledger management, and period-end closing.Experience in finance-related tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.Knowledge of fixed assets accounting, including capitalization, tracking, and depreciation processes.Well-developed analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and propose actionable insights.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a remote work environment.Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.Experience working within Qatar or GCC regulatory and tax frameworks is a plus.Experience in food manufacturing is a must
