ADA Country Manager – Egypt

We are seeking an experienced aviation leader to take on a senior in-country role responsible for establishing and leading ADA’s Air Taxi operations in Egypt.Purpose of the Role:The ADA Country Manager – Egypt serves as the senior company representative in-country, responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient helicopter operations.The role is accountable for establishing ADA’s Air Operator Certificate (AOC) in Egypt and ensuring full alignment with Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) requirements, ICAO standards, and corporate safety and operational frameworks. This position acts as the key liaison between ADA, regulatory authorities, commercial partners, and internal aviation functions. Key ResponsibilitiesLead all in-country aviation operations, technical, and administrative activitiesOversee flight operations planning, execution, and mission readinessEnsure aircraft availability, operational continuity, and airworthinessCoordinate closely with Flight Operations, Part 145 Engineering, CAMO, Safety, and LogisticsRepresent ADA with the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) and government entitiesObtain and maintain all operational permits, approvals, and certificationsManage in-country stakeholders, partners, vendors, and SLAsLead base personnel including pilots, engineers, and operational teamsChampion safety culture, SMS compliance, and regulatory adherenceLead incident response and crisis coordination in collaboration with HQ teamsEnsure compliance with internal audit, safety, and quality frameworks Ideal Candidate Will HaveMinimum 10 years of aviation operations experience (rotary-wing preferred)At least 3 years in base/station or operational leadership rolesStrong exposure to MENA aviation operations (Egypt experience preferred)Proven experience engaging with civil aviation authorities and regulatorsBackground in managing integrated flight, engineering, and maintenance operationsPrevious experience as a Post Holder or Accountable Manager (highly desirable)Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Engineering, Business, or related fieldAviation safety, operations, or regulatory certifications (advantageous)EASA / GCAA / FAA qualifications (beneficial but not mandatory)
