As an Application Engineer at LENSEC, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical success of our partners and clients by providing comprehensive support and expertise across all LENSEC products and solutions. Your role is centered on product configuration, advanced troubleshooting, and the resolution of technical issues to maintain high system performance and customer satisfaction.In addition to core support functions, you will assist with the technical execution of projects and support the Sales team with hardware sizing, system demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts. We are looking for a proactive technical professional who thrives on solving complex problems and can effectively represent LENSEC within the resident country.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and guidance to clients and partners, managing support cases and performing advanced system diagnostics across the LENSEC product line.Configure and maintain LENSEC solutions, ensuring systems are optimized, updated, and meeting specific partner requirements.Resolve complex technical issues through remote or on-site support, including software installations, system upgrades, and hardware repairs.Demonstrate LENSEC systems to partners and potential clients, showcasing product features and technical capabilities during meetings and events.Assist with project delivery and implementation, ensuring a smooth configuration and handover process for new deployments.Support pre-sales activities by assisting with hardware sizing, technical proposals, and the design of integrated solutions.Leverage knowledge of Linux and Networking to troubleshoot infrastructure-level issues and ensure stable system environments.Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by updating technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to coordinate support activities and technical projects.Participate in team activities and represent the company locally, maintaining professional communication with all stakeholders.QualificationsBSc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.1–2 years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer or in a similar technical troubleshooting role.Familiarity with Linux (system navigation, command-line troubleshooting, and log analysis).Familiarity with Physical Security, CCTV, and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems, including third-party integrations like access control and analytics.Basic knowledge of DevOps principles and modern deployment workflows.Solid understanding of network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly summarize and resolve technical challenges.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality client service.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and take a proactive approach to addressing challenges.Interested Candidates can send their CV to: HR.MENA@lensec.com
