Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Zayed with Lavana Engineering Consultants. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing schematic designs, and producing detailed drawings and specifications in line with project requirements and local regulations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with engineering disciplines, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout all project phases. The role also involves reviewing shop drawings and material submittals, conducting site visits to monitor progress and quality, and resolving design-related issues in the field. The Architect will participate in client meetings, support project documentation and reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and workflows.Qualifications Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience translating client requirements into functional, aesthetic, and compliant designs.Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, coordinating stakeholders, and monitoring deliverables across project phases.Knowledge of Integration between architectural work and structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive, buildable solutions.Familiarity with Software Development concepts or tools that support design workflows (e.g., BIM, parametric design, or automation of routine tasks) is beneficial.Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and strong technical drawing skills.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a closely related field; local professional registration or eligibility is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Ezbet Zayed, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with clients and contractors.Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and sustainability standards on all projects.
