Architectural Technical Engineer is responsible for preparing detailed technical shop drawings packages coordinating multidisciplinary drawing; coordinating with site and factory teams to ensure production schedule, and managing quantity surveying tasks including BOQs, cost estimation, and payment certifications. handle any inquiries and help resolve technical issues with design production, inspection and installation. The role ensures technical accuracy, cost control, and compliance throughout the construction lifecycle.1. Technical Office DutiesPrepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.Review IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings and identify discrepancies.Coordinate production drawings with production and deliveryensure that production is according to project timeline and technical specificationsPrepare material submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications.Respond to RFIs and technical queries from site teams.Attend coordination meetings and technical discussions.Support site engineers with clarifications and revisions.2. Quantity Surveying & Cost ControlPrepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs).Perform quantity take-offs from drawings.Prepare cost estimates and budgets for architectural works.Monitor project costs and track variations.Prepare variation orders and claims documentation.Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate pricing.Prepare interim payment certificates and monthly valuations.Track material consumption versus BOQ quantities.Assist in cost reporting and forecasting.3. Contracts & DocumentationAssist in reviewing contract documents and specifications.Support preparation of tender documentation.Ensure proper documentation control and filing.Prepare comparison sheets for subcontractors and suppliers.Maintain project records and approvals4. Site Coordination & Quality Assurance Conduct periodic site visits to verify quantities and work progress.Ensure execution aligns with approved shop drawings.Monitor material usage and waste control.Identify potential cost overruns and propose mitigation measures.
