Job Title: Art DirectorLocation: Maadi, Cairo, Egypt (Hybrid)Industry: Software / TechnologyEmployment Type: Full-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesCreative Direction & Strategy:Define, evolve, and champion a cohesive visual identity and design language for the brand across all digital platforms (web, app, social media, campaigns).Translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling, and visually engaging storytelling that resonates with our target audience .Lead the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring all visual outputs are strategically aligned with business goals and brand values.Design Execution:Oversee the creation of high-quality visual assets for marketing campaigns, product launches, social media, and sales enablement materials.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and visually consistent user experience across our software products .Build and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and templates to enhance efficiency and brand consistency .Team Leadership & Collaboration:Mentor, guide, and inspire a team of designers, providing constructive feedback to foster professional growth and ensure high-quality deliverables .Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, copywriters, and marketing strategists, to bring creative concepts to life .Present creative concepts and design rationale effectively to stakeholders, building trust and aligning on project objectives .Innovation & Trends:Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring the latest design trends, digital innovations, and emerging technologies in the software and tech space.Experiment with and integrate AI tools and workflows to enhance the creative process and improve team efficiency .RequirementsExperience: 7+ years of experience as an Art Director, Senior Designer, or in a similar creative leadership role, ideally within a software, SaaS, or tech environment .Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional art direction, brand development, and design across digital and social platforms, preferably with experience in technology products .Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design tools, including Figma, and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with motion design (e.g., After Effects) is a strong plus .Leadership: Proven experience leading, mentoring, and managing a design team .System Thinking: Deep understanding of visual systems, UI design, and the ability to create scalable, component-based designs .Collaboration: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders .Mindset: High creative standards with an obsessive attention to detail, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with 3D design or VFX workflows .Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS) .Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
