Together, we embody the vision of responsible hospitality.Take the opportunity to become a Heartist®, and let your heart guide you in this world where life beats faster.Job DescriptionOverseeing the maintenance and repair planning to ensure the hotel building is safe and efficiently maintained.Ensuring safety, security, and compliance are maintained at the highest levels.Providing water, heat, lighting, and power for the entire hotel.Ensuring all safety rules and regulations are complied with and reporting progress to the Director of Engineering.Develops and implements administrative standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency, safety, and prompt service to internal and external guestsAssists in managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.Recommends or arranges for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, and the replacement of furnishings and equipment.Supervises the day-to-day operations of Engineering and related departments.Ensures by spot checks that preventative maintenance program is followed as it is implementedPlaces orders for routine maintenance itemsBe a member of the Health and Safety program of the hotel and make sure rules, regulations, and policies are being followed by colleaguesQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering +3 years' experience in maintenance Engineering into Hospitality industry Strong Leadership skills with previous experience of managing a teamFirst Aid Certificate Additional Informationexperience is an assetPrior experience working with Opera or a related systemFluency in Englishadditional languages are a plusYour Team And Working EnvironmentIn 1-2 sentences, introduce the team, property or office environment in a way that reflects the cultureNote: Customization may be included for any specific local or legislative requirements, such as work permitsOur Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
