Key Responsibilities: Advising on contract administration to the project and cost management delivery teams; advising on the contractual obligations of project parties; Participate in preparing assessments for potential claims; Monitor contract performance and compliance in accordance with the project plans; Preparation of claim responses and variation orders; Participate in negotiation of claims with project parties; Provide advice regarding interpretation of contract terms and conditions; Prepare contractual notices as appropriate; Participate in preparing contract analysis reports highlighting concerns and risks to be considered; Preparing responses to all contractual correspondences. Maintaining records of all contracts. Issue contractual notices. Draft and issue variation instruction and/or orders. Liaise with the Client on all contractual aspects. Review the contractual merit of change requests, and/or contractors notices of changes. Review contractors claims in terms of legitimacy and contractual compliance. Participate in drafting contract's amendments, as requested. Ensuring the fulfillment of contractual obligations and proactively identifying events where the client's rights need to be safeguarded. Previous experience may include, but not be limited to; Good command and knowledge of standard forms of contracts. Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Architectural or Construction Management is required. 5 years of relevant experience. Excellent written and verbal skills with a fluent proficiency in English. Consulting experience will be highly advantageous. Skills to include: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to Use a clear, systematic approach to solving complex issues and to communicate solutions in an effective, efficient, high-level manner. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Good organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
