Reports to: Senior Director, SCE Outreach & PartnershipsPurpose: The general purpose of this position is to provide leadership for the School of Continuing Education’s (SCE) marketing, communications, and customer experience functions. The job holder will be responsible for enhancing SCE’s brand image, directing offline and online presence, and guiding the marketing budget. This role leads the marketing team to expand the customer base through upselling and cross-selling, ensuring a high-quality customer journey that supports increasing school enrollment.Responsibilities:Marketing & Brand Management: Direct the school’s offline and online presence on social media, web, and other media to ensure high visibility. Co-develop and adhere to the annual school communications strategy and calendar to capture SCE’s activities, news, and updates. Guide the marketing budget in coordination with the department directors and the School leadership to ensure efficient resource allocation.Customer Experience & Enrollment Support: Enhance experience by leveraging data-driven strategies tailored to continuing education programs. Use data analytics and CRM tools to deliver tailored content, such as customized financial aid info or program recommendations based on user behavior. Segment audiences for targeted emails and omnichannel service, making prospects feel valued. Validate demand with keyword research and student surveys before campaigns, then track engagement via analytics for real-time adjustments.Team Leadership & Operations: Lead the marketing team staff, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure all marketing and communication activities align with the school’s goals and objectives. Requirements:Minimum Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, or Business-related discipline) is required.Experience:Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.Proven proficiency in digital and social media business development, production, and manipulation of visual marketing material (videos, infographics, flyers).Skills:Technical: Good understanding of web-based graphic design; knowledge of MAC operations and software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Flash, Acrobat); proficiency in Microsoft Office.Digital: Knowledge of internet operations, functionality, and programming/design tools; research and analytical skills to evaluate new technologies.Interpersonal: Advanced communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and communities.Soft Skills: Self-starter with the ability to work independently; aptitude for learning new tasks quickly.This position is open until May 14, 2026Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
