Associate Solution Engineer - Document Management & Open Source

Main Duties Develop and maintain backend integrations using REST APIs, Python, Java, or C# to support document management and business workflows.Build and enhance custom web portals and user interfaces using ASP.NET Core, React, Vite, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and database-related issues using a structured debugging approach.Participate in source code management activities using Git, including branching, code reviews, commits, and pull requests.Continuously learn and adopt new ECM technologies, development frameworks, and AI-powered productivity tools to improve delivery efficiency and solution quality RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.Minimum grade: Very Good.0–3 years of experience.Technical Requirements — Must HaveSolid understanding of at least one backend language: Python, Java, or C#.Basic web development knowledge: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Familiarity with REST APIs, including consuming and testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.Relational database fundamentals, including SQL and basic schema design. PostgreSQL or SQL Server is preferred.Basic Git version control knowledge, including branching, commits, and pull requests.Comfortable working on Linux, including basic terminal commands and file navigation.Proficient in using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools for code generation, debugging, research, and productivity. Candidates should be able to demonstrate how they leverage AI to accelerate their learning and output.Technical Requirements — Nice to HaveExposure to any ECM/DMS platform such as Nuxeo, SharePoint, Alfresco, or OpenText.Frontend framework experience: React or Vue.js.Experience with TypeScript.Familiarity with Docker or basic containerization concepts.Basic mobile development knowledge. Flutter is a plus.Exposure to document processing, OCR, or metadata management.Knowledge of Arabic localization or RTL layout handling.Soft SkillsStrong self-learning ability and willingness to ramp up on enterprise platforms.Good written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.Team player, comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and vendors.Strong attention to detail, especially around document workflows and data accuracy.Problem-solving mindset with a methodical debugging approach.What Will Work OnNuxeo platform configuration, automation chains, and REST API integrations.Custom portal development using ASP.NET Core, React, and Vite.Python scripting for ETL, bulk uploads, and metadata processing.Supporting multi-ECM projects, including Nuxeo, SharePoint, and Alfresco.Multilingual UI work, including English/Arabic and RTL support.Client-facing deployments and end-user training support.
