The AWS Security Engineer will be responsible for securing applications, networks, and cloud environments by identifying vulnerabilities and engineering robust security solutions. Daily tasks include managing security tools, conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and collaborating with teams to ensure a secure cloud infrastructure. Role also include:Review AWS security findings across services such as Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, IAM, S3, EC2, and SSM.Validate risk prioritization, remediation recommendations, and exception workflows.Test PR-style remediation bundles and confirm whether the generated guidance is practical and safe.QualificationsExpertise in Application Security, Network Security, and Cybersecurity2+ years of hands-on AWS security or cloud security experience.Practical experience with IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, S3 security, EC2 security groups, and logging/monitoring.Proficiency in Security Engineering and Information Security practicesExcellent teamwork and communication skills. English is a must.Nice To HaveExperience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark, or audit-readiness work.AWS certification such as AWS Security Specialty, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administrator.Prior experience testing SaaS, security tools, CSPM, CNAPP, or cloud compliance products.
