Job PurposeCarries out and supervises Line-level maintenance tasks on Air Arabia Egypt within the ECAR ‘X&AV’ License Category, ensuring the required work is performed, certified and recorded accurately and timely in accordance with Air Arabia Egypt and regulatory requirements.Key Result ResponsibilitiesReviews assigned maintenance work with the Manager to gain full understanding of tasks, their relative priorities, documentation requirements and cautions, prior to starting work. Performs defect troubleshooting and rectification in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and instructions provided by the MCC and Engineering departments. Protects airworthiness, ensuring aircraft are dispatched in a fully compliant condition and configuration, inspected and tested in accordance with approved maintenance procedures. Signs off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of own authorisation, verifying that the aircraft technical log and associated documents have been completed to the required standard following completion of all maintenance.Manages communications with other engineers, Technicians, Flight Crew and MCC related to the assigned tasks, providing accurate, timely reports on the readiness and airworthiness of the aircraft. Takes positive steps to protect self and other persons in the area of the maintenance activity from any possible injury, including the use of proper GSE and protective equipment.Work ExperienceQualifications (Academic, training, languages)External applicants At least 2 years’ experience certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft. At least 5 years’ experience in a Line or Base Maintenance environment. Internal Applicants Minimum 3 years as a qualified Aircraft Technician following initial training. Licensed on A320 in B2 category. Good performance record.
