A Bakery Chef is responsible for managing preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality breads, pastries, desserts, and baked goods for hotel outlets, banquets, and events while seeking customer feedback, training staff, controlling costs, and covering all business needs. This role ensures consistent product quality, attractive presentation, and adherence to food safety and hotel standards while supporting daily operations and special functions.What will I be doing?A Bakery Chef will also be required to ensure that all operational, quality, and administrative functions are carried out properly. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods according to hotel recipes and standardsEnsure consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and portion controlAssist in menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal offeringsMonitor proofing, baking times, temperatures, and product qualityMaintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and equipment in compliance with HACCP and food safety regulationsControl food costs by minimizing waste and properly managing ingredientsCoordinate with kitchen and banquet teams to meet daily production and event requirementsAssist with inventory management, ordering, and stock rotationTrain and supervise junior bakery staff or commis as assignedFollow all hotel policies, hygiene standards, and workplace safety proceduresWhat are we looking for?A Bakery Chef serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
