Team members join a brand that values quality, culture, and long-term relationships with guests and partners.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista/Crew Member role based in Alexandria, Egypt. The Barista/Crew Member prepares and serves a range of hot and cold coffee beverages, as well as other drinks and food items, following Mikel Coffee standards and recipes. The role includes greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and providing friendly, efficient customer service throughout each visit. Daily tasks involve operating coffee equipment, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the café area, counters, and workstations are clean, safe, and well-organized. The Barista/Crew Member also supports opening and closing procedures, follows food safety and hygiene guidelines, and works closely with the team to deliver a consistent, high-quality café experience.Qualifications Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills, with a friendly and professional approach to guests.Practical Barista skills, including coffee preparation, beverage customization, and safe equipment operation.Effective Communication abilities for interacting with guests and coordinating smoothly with team members.Food Preparation skills, with attention to cleanliness, presentation, and food safety standards.Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or retail environment is preferred but not required.Ability to stand for extended periods, handle fast-paced shifts, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Basic numeracy and point-of-sale (POS) handling skills.Willingness to learn, follow brand standards, and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.
