About the OpportunityLDC Link Data Center is looking for a Business Analyst to support a large-scale Master Data Management (MDM) implementation project for a leading financial institution in East Africa.You will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering requirements, mapping processes, coordinating UAT activities, and supporting the successful delivery of the project.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and validate business requirements from banking stakeholdersMap current business processes and data flows across banking systems and digital channelsTranslate business needs into functional specifications for technical teamsSupport the definition of data quality rules, matching logic, and golden record criteriaPlan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test cases and defect trackingFacilitate workshops with business owners, data stewards, and project stakeholdersPrepare business documentation including process maps, data dictionaries, and training materialsTrack project risks, issues, and scope changes while coordinating with the Project ManagerRequirements3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Banking or Financial ServicesStrong understanding of banking operations such as customer onboarding, KYC, account management, or product dataExperience in requirements gathering and process mapping (BPMN or similar)Hands-on experience coordinating and executing UAT activitiesFamiliarity with MDM concepts, data quality, and deduplication processes is a plusStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience working within Agile or Waterfall environmentsProficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, Visio, and PowerPointTechnical & Domain SkillsRequirements AnalysisUAT CoordinationProcess MappingBPMNData QualityKYC / KYBStakeholder ManagementAgile / WaterfallMDM ConceptsMS VisioFunctional Specifications
