The teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Business and Economics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning standards. Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans, preparing instructional materials, leading classroom instruction, and using a range of teaching strategies to support different learning styles. The role also involves assessing and documenting student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of grades and performance. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues, participate in department and staff meetings, communicate regularly with parents and guardians, and contribute to school events and academic activities. Additional responsibilities may include supporting student projects, guiding learners in research and critical thinking, and participating in professional development to continuously enhance teaching practice.QualificationsSolid knowledge of Business and Economics concepts and the ability to teach these subjects at middle and/or high school level.Strong classroom management, lesson planning, and instructional design skills.Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and colleagues.Ability to assess student learning, use data to inform instruction, and provide timely, constructive feedback.Proficiency in English as the primary language of instruction; ability to integrate technology and digital tools into teaching.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or license is preferred.Relevant teaching experience in Business and/or Economics, ideally in an international or similar school environment.Commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning and ongoing professional development.
