The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in Economics and Business that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records of progress and grades. The role involves designing a variety of learning activities, supporting students with different learning styles, and integrating real-world economic and business concepts into classroom instruction. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and academic leadership, communicate regularly with families or guardians as needed, and participate in meetings, professional development, and school events.QualificationsStrong subject-matter knowledge in Economics and Business, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, age-appropriate way.Proven teaching skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and differentiated instruction.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, colleagues, and families in a diverse school community.Ability to integrate real-world case studies, current events, and practical examples into Economics and Business lessons.Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Education, or a related field; a teaching qualification, license, or equivalent certification is preferred.Experience teaching at the middle or high school level, ideally in an international or bilingual school environment, is an advantage.Comfort with educational technology and digital tools to support instruction, assessment, and communication.Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education and to supporting students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
