The organization is experiencing rapid growth and is strengthening its enterprise-wide resilience capabilities.The Senior Manager, Business Continuity & Crisis Management will play a critical role in enhancing organizational preparedness, ensuring robust crisis response capabilities, and supporting business units across multiple regions. The role requires a strong background in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and hands-on BCM experience.Key Responsibilities1. Reporting & MonitoringProduce weekly and monthly BCM reports for all business units and additional reports as requested.Follow up with facilities and relevant stakeholders to close issues promptly and update BCM/Crisis systems accordingly.Ensure accurate maintenance of all data held within BCM applications.2. BCM & Crisis PlanningContribute to the development of the annual Business Continuity and Crisis Management plan, ensuring alignment with corporate direction.Maintain and update BCM/Crisis systems to ensure accurate progress reporting.Support Corporate and SBU teams in preparing for Business Continuity Plan (BCP) reviews and testing.Provide technical guidance, training, and support to SBUs through workshops and hands-on involvement.3. Stakeholder Coordination & CommunicationMaintain consistent communication with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, Risk teams, and Compliance.Work closely with Risk teams to deliver BCM/Crisis initiatives and activities.Share best practices, learning points, and improvement actions across SBUs.4. Governance & CommitteesParticipate in monthly or quarterly BCM/Crisis committee meetings.Prepare minutes of meetings (MoM), distribute action items, and follow up on pending issues.Support internal initiatives such as BCM maturity assessments, awareness programs, and internal workshops.5. Issue Escalation & System ManagementEscalate system issues or critical findings to the CRO and ensure timely resolutions.Manage creation, documentation, archival, and sharing of departmental meeting minutes.Deliver data-driven stakeholder reports using BCM applications and tools.6. Special Projects & SupportContribute to special resilience or BCM-related projects as required.Prepare reports summarizing response plan reviews and testing results, ensuring documentation is properly stored in BCM/Crisis software.Demonstrate strong professional credibility, technical expertise, and sound judgment.Qualifications & RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree from a recognized institution; Business-related majors preferred.Professional diploma in a relevant discipline is beneficial.Certifications (Preferred)Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 22301, ISO 31000, ISO 37301, King IV.Relevant certifications such as ICERM, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or similar BCM credentials.Experience10+ years of experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance and Business Continuity Management.Experience working with large, multi-business-unit organizations is highly desirable.Knowledge & SkillsStrong knowledge of Business Operations, Enterprise Risk Management, and BCM principles.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to interpret complex business issues and translate them into continuity strategies.Comfort with numerical analysis, cost assessment, and scenario modeling.
